What Integral Ad Science (IAS) does
Integral Ad Science measures whether ads are viewable, shown to humans, and placed next to suitable content. Along with DoubleVerify and Zefr it is one of the vendors whose exclusion lists Google allows advertisers to apply to the search partner network.
IAS is no longer a listed company. The private equity firm Novacap agreed in September 2025 to buy it for about $1.9 billion, paying $10.30 a share, and the deal closed on 23 December 2025. Its shares stopped trading on Nasdaq that day.
How it makes money
Fees from advertisers, agencies and platforms for measurement and pre-bid filtering.
Where it meets invalid traffic
Offers MRC-accredited invalid-traffic measurement and brand-suitability controls, now extended to search partner sites through Google's pre-screen feature.
