Pinterest is a site where people save and browse images of things they want to make, buy or do. Because users arrive with shopping and planning in mind, its ad clicks can carry real commercial intent, which is what search advertisers pay for.
Search arbitrage buyers use promoted pins to send visitors to content pages in home, style, finance and similar categories. Volumes are smaller than on Meta or native networks.
