What Team Internet Group does
Team Internet Group is a London-listed company that began as the domain registry business CentralNic. In 2019 it paid $48 million for Team Internet AG, a Munich company that owned the parking platform ParkingCrew and the arbitrage platform Tonic. In 2020 it paid $36 million for Codewise, which brought the ad network Zeropark and the tracker Voluum. The group took the Team Internet name in September 2023.
That gave it an unusual position: it owned a feed platform, a parking company, a traffic source and a tracker at once. It also meant heavy exposure to Google. When Google wound down AdSense for Domains during 2025, the group's gross revenue fell 40% to $481.9 million and trade press reported about 200 job cuts.
The company moved its search business onto Related Search on Content and said the search segment returned to profit on an adjusted basis in June 2026. It opened a strategic review in November 2025 and has been negotiating a sale of its domains division, which the board expects to fetch more than $160 million. No sale had been announced when this page was last checked.
How it makes money
A share of search-ad revenue earned on its publishers' pages and parked domains, fees and margins from its ad network and tracker, and domain registry and registrar fees.
Where it meets invalid traffic
Its income depends on Google accepting its partners' traffic. Platforms like Tonic screen publishers and traffic sources because one partner's bad traffic can bring deductions for the whole account.
