What is zero-click parking?

Zero-click parking sends a visitor who types a parked domain straight to an advertiser's website, with no page of links in between. The visit is sold through an auction to whoever bids most for that kind of traffic. The domain owner is paid per redirect. It avoids search feeds entirely but gives little control over where visitors end up.

Short answer · The Arbitrage Desk

With zero-click parking the "click" is the act of typing the address. The parking platform sells that visit as domain redirect traffic, and the buyer may be a brand, an affiliate or another arbitrageur. Traffic networks such as Zeropark built businesses on this model.

The benefit is independence from search engines. The costs are lower transparency and higher risk. Because the destination is chosen by auction, visitors can be sent to aggressive offers, and researchers have documented parked domains redirecting to scams and malvertising depending on the visitor's device and location. For advertisers buying this traffic, intent is weak and invalid traffic rates need watching. For domain owners, reputational and legal risk rises if a name resembles a brand.
