IAB
Trade association of the online ad industry; publishes standards and the main US ad revenue report.
New York, USA · founded 1996 · iab.com
What IAB does
The Interactive Advertising Bureau is the trade association for companies that sell and buy online advertising. It publishes technical standards, such as ads.txt, and an annual revenue report with PwC that is the usual source for how big search advertising is.
Search arbitrage has no trade body of its own. The IAB's standards and its definitions of native advertising are the nearest thing to shared rules outside the search engines' own policies.
