What Above.com does

Above.com is a domain monetisation platform and marketplace run by the Australian company Trellian. Domain owners use it to earn money from unused names and to sell them.

It presents itself as an independent alternative to the larger parking companies, a pitch it has sharpened since IONOS put Sedo up for sale. Like its rivals it has had to replace Google's parked-domain ads, which Google removed from its network by February 2026.

Where it meets invalid traffic

Parking platforms route each visit to whichever buyer pays most, which makes it essential to screen who those buyers are. Researchers have documented parked visits being redirected to scams.
