Google Ads Auto-Applies Website Coupons to Search and PMax Campaigns
· 4h ago · Originally reported by PPC Land
Starting October 12, Google Ads will automatically apply website-sourced coupons to eligible Search and Performance Max campaigns with location assets. The system will re-check the validity of these offers every 24 hours.
Why it matters
This changes campaign management and cost structure for search arbitrage operators, as it automatically lowers CPCs through applied coupons, requiring new monitoring routines.
Explain it like I’m new here
It's like a store automatically giving you a discount coupon at checkout without you having to clip it first, changing how much you pay for each customer you bring in.
