What is the TQI Score?

The TQI Score™, short for Traffic Quality Index, is ClearTrust's measure of how clean a stream of traffic is. It is built from more than 150 filters that look for bots, fake clicks and fake impressions. Publishers, buyers and advertisers use scores of this kind to compare traffic sources and to spot invalid traffic before it costs them money.

Short answer · The Arbitrage Desk

In a search arbitrage setting, a TQI Score™ is applied to visits by source, campaign or placement. A source that scores poorly is a candidate for a blocklist or for a conversation with the seller, before the search engine's own review turns the problem into a clawback.

It belongs to the wider family of traffic quality scores and IVT detection tools. As with any independent measurement, it does not tell you exactly what a search engine will decide, because engines also use private advertiser conversion data. Its value is speed and independence: a view of quality that does not depend on the party selling you the traffic. This site is published by ClearTrust, so weigh that when reading our description.
