What gets a search feed terminated?

The usual causes are invalid or low-quality traffic, unapproved traffic sources, misleading adverts, pages with little real content, encouraging or tricking visitors into clicking ads, forcing irrelevant keywords, and hiding any of this from the provider. Persistent poor conversion for advertisers can end a feed even with no single rule broken. Termination often comes with withheld earnings.

Short answer · The Arbitrage Desk

Enforcement normally escalates: a warning, a feed cap, a clawback, loss of features, then feed suspension. Serious cases skip the early steps. A feed provider may cut off one buyer to protect its own agreement, without waiting for the engine to act.

Specific triggers include bot traffic or incentivised traffic, traffic blending of unapproved sources, a misleading ad, missing or inaccurate referrerAdCreative, keyword stuffing, asking for clicks, and cloaking. Prevention is mostly discipline: buy only from approved sources, isolate each on its own channel, review creatives before launch, monitor traffic quality independently, and answer provider queries quickly and truthfully.
